The title sounds a bit like the three tenors and in a way these three gentlemen are for the Scottish Whisky Industry what the three tenors are for music. A few weeks ago I was asked for a photo shoot in Glasgow, in the head office of White and Mackay, St Vincent Street. The commission was for clients from the Netherlands who are organising a very special whisky tasting with these three gentlemen. The thee legends I’m talking about are Richard Patterson who works at White and Mackay also nicknamed “The Nose”, David Stewart who is Malt Master and Blender for William Grant & Sons and our own Jim McEwan from Islay. Together these three gentlemen present well over 150 years of experience in the Scottish Whisky Industry. The photo shoot was fantastic and I feel very honoured to have met these legends of whisky in person and to have them together in one photo. Slainthe!
